Another invitation to spring: Hurry UP!

DSCF1726Two more snow days – it is not that staying at home is a problem . . . in fact, if I could get away with it, I would stay home all the time and work on my projects. But that is not how the real world works, so I do need to get out and go to work along with the other daily necessities of life. But it is the constant uncertainty and upset schedule that keeps me kind of annoyed.

DSCF1729So, in an attempt to try to minimize the exasperation that is caused by all this snow, we made another banner to welcome spring. There are several other banners and crafty projects in process, but this one is just about finished.

Sneak peek at a few new adventures for Vintage Mama’s Cottage: I now have a partner who will be helping with all aspects of this business, and I’m looking forward to working together to design and create all kinds of fun “stuff” for our Etsy shops.

More on that later, but for starters, this banner is called “Bright Spring” and was created in shades of bright fuchsia, lime green, and white with “pops” of black for a bit of drama. I hope that these beautiful bright colors will entice spring, finally, to arrive at our house.

DSCF1730Now that I’m working with a partner, I’m thinking that we will be designing and creating lots of fun projects in the coming weeks and months. All of our online shops will be getting a makeover (again by our treasured friend Katherine of Blog Art by Katherine) – so be watching for updates.

Please sign up to receive our blog posts and updates on Vintage Mama’s Cottage via email. It is quick and easy and you will always know when we have come up with a new design or project.

Have a great weekend, and don’t forget to leave a comment so we know you stopped by!
