Vintage Mama’s Cottage has been a busy place the past few months! We’ve been working on several new projects in the studio, setting up websites and online shops, and creating fun new designs for babies, kids, and moms as well as a few home decor accessories and art journals. Some days I get to go from one creative project to the next, and those are the days that I love working from home!
Other days, there are a million and one other responsibilities pulling me in that many directions, so I miss having time to get out in the studio and “make stuff.”
With Mother’s Day just two days away, I wanted to share a couple of ideas for DIY gifts that you can make with a little bit of time, a few odds and ends that you might already have around the house, scissors and a trusty glue gun. It’s always a good feeling of accomplishment once you’ve made something yourself, and then to be able to give a personal, hand crafted gift to someone you love . . . well, that makes it even more fun.
