Handcrafted Inspiration

1486103_10151792986730836_1226368605_oIf you are an artist and have devoted your days to creating unique, handcrafted designs to sell online or in a local retail venue, it is a pretty sure thing that you need all the support and encouragement you can get! One of the best places I have found to connect with other artisans and learn how to maximize your business presence is Handmadeology.

Designer and creator, Timothy Adam, who runs his own Etsy shop as well as writes and edits the Handmadeology website. The goal of Handmadeology is posted on the About page on their website:

Handmadeology exists for the purpose of teaching artists how to successfully sell their handmade goods online, and to feature the newest handmade, vintage and supply items found around the web!”

Having been selling from my Etsy shops, Tatters to Treasures and mamas*little*treasures, since 2007, I appreciate the work that Tim does at Handmadeology, helping artists to create and build their online businesses. One thing that happens every week, is the Monday Connection on Facebook where shop owners can link up their listings and support one another through sharing and promoting shop links.

If you would like to connect and link up to the Monday Connection, just pop on over to their Facebook page and share your shop link and listings. Then, take a minute to visit the Handmadeology website to see what’s going on over there. You might even be interested in selling with them in their online marketplace!
