It’s funny, but it’s true . . . . whatever we are “good” at doing, seems like we just assume everyone else is “good” at it, too. At least that’s been my experience. And as I have often said, “I’m good at a few things, but the rest – I’m worthless!” So when I was asked to turn some of my craft projects into ebook patterns a few years ago, I was kind of surprised that anyone would be interested. Well, that was a while ago now, and it has turned out to be true. Lots of people who were interested in creating stuff but didn’t know how or where to start, have found my ebook patterns inspiring.
Now, it seems that there is interest in the possibility of turning some of my designs into kits so that not only will the instructions be available, but all of the materials / supplies for each craft will all be in one little zip-loc bag! That’s the theory, so we’re going to give it a try. We’re going to start with the “Keys to Grandma’s Heart” Mother’s Day banner. This one will be available in a kit and you will be able to spell out the word “Grandma,” “Mother,” “Mama,” “Mommy,” or even “Nana” or “MeMaw” or whatever you call your mother / grandmother.
Then, the next step, of course, is to create kits for the Father’s Day Banner Card project. Again, “Grandpa,” “Papa,” “Father,” “Daddy,” “Dad,” or whatever your Daddy is called in your family. The other couple of crafts that will be turned into kits include the “Freedom” banner for summer, as well as a few seasonal collage wallhangings.
