The past couple of months have been quite different around here . . . . end of summer activities, back to school projects, family visiting from out of town, and a week long trip on the road with my sweet hubby all kept me quite distracted. Then, kind of out of the blue (so to speak) I had the opportunity to interview for a half-time position with a Christian college not too far from our home, and now I have a JOB in addition to my job here with my family. So, all of that activity kept my focus elsewhere and I am just now beginning to feel a bit more settled and I am hoping to have time to continue posting here as I create new craft and sewing projects.
Last week I sold a couple of items from my Etsy shop, Tatters to Treasures, and I have several other refashion projects in the works. I am also planning to post a couple of new craft tutorials for the holidays, so be watching my blog for new ideas! The tricky part is promoting the new craft tutorials so that my readers know they are available . . . . any ideas are welcome.
So, for now here are a few images of the items that I have in my Etsy shop and hopefully these pictures might inspire YOU to create your own fun upcycle / refashion garments for you and your children. Have a great Monday and please stop back soon to see some new ideas for your craft and sewing room.
